GovernmentTV Channel 191 is your connection to your public officials and the issues that face your community. By providing LIVE and recorded coverage of board, commission, and committee meetings, GovernmentTV allows you to witness firsthand the proceedings that shape and influence your quality of life.
GovernmentTV is funded in part through franchise fees collected from local cable companies in exchange for use of public right-of-ways. All municipalities in northwest Lower Michigan are welcome to participate. GovernmentTV is currently utilized by these jurisdictions:

- City of Traverse City
- East Bay Charter Township
- Elmwood Charter Township
- GT Metro
- Grand Traverse County
- Grand Traverse County Road Commission
