National Memorial Day for Those Experiencing Homelessness: The Longest Night of the Year

For those who have died while experiencing homelessness, Goodwill Northern Michigan leads a silent 45-minute memorial walk, starting at the Governmental Center, 400 Boardman Ave., Traverse City.

Every year, 13,000 Americans experiencing homelessness die on the streets. Participants are encouraged to bring friends and family.
