Romance novelist Paul is rescued from a car crash by his fan, Annie, and wakes up in her secluded home. There, she reads the manuscript to his newest novel and realizes the author has killed off her favorite character. Annie forces Paul to write a new novel, as he realizes Annie has no intention of letting him leave.
