\tFifty years ago, synthesizers were in their infancy and the computers we all know today had not even been invented. Dr. Cleve L. Scott, Ball State University, was a true pioneer in the development of electronic music. Part of that development was his formation of a dance ensemble, The MEL Group (Musical Experiments in Linguistics) in order to blend their visual performance with his score. Adding analog video effects including video feedback, adjusting linearity and beam alignment led to this performance of TOCCATA.
