September 6th, 2018 - The Coast Guard City Committee, the Traverse City Arts Commission, and the City of Traverse City unveiled the sculpture "Guardian" at the Mini Park located at the confluence of East Front and Grandview Parkway. The sculpture was designed by TC West student, Mallory Heiges, with assistance from Bob Purvis and Devan Depauw.
