A micro-documentary about the role fore and aft rigged schooners played in the development of the Great Lakes region. Video production took place during the innaugural Michigan Schnooner Festival September 11 through the 13th 2009. Sailing vessels featured in the video are those from the Maritime Heritage Alliance, including: the Welcome, an armed sloop, the Champion, a cutter, the Madeline a schooner and the Arcturos and the Gracie L. additionally, Inland Seas Education Association's the Inland Seas, Bay Sail from Bay City and their their ship the Appledore V. and, Pier Wisconsin's the S/V Denis Sullivan.
