Linda Woods grew up in Peshawbestown, an Anishnaebek community just north of Suttons Bay. Serving in the U.S. Airforce, she later earned an MSW in social work, and returned to Peshawbeston from California. She describes her life and her journey back home, and the Native American traditions she has learned. She was honored to receive an Eagle Staff, a flag and a spiritual being named Migisi. She continues to display MIgisi throughout the nation, and explains the significance of an Eagle Staff.
