Under law, public access television broadcasts must be strictly non-commercial. Therefore, once per year (or whenever you clear your cookies), we must ask you to agree to the following statement to post events to the TACM Community Calendar:

The events that I will post here are sponsored by a private individual, non-profit organization, local government, church, or school and NOT a for-profit business.

Tell us when we should start and stop showing your event on the Community Calendar.  Generally, the End Date should be the actual date of your event. Note that we will only display events for a maximum of 60 days.

The event title will appear at the top of the Community Calendar slide.  It can be up to 30 characters long.

This is your event's date and time that will be displayed on the Community Calendar.  It can be up to 30 characters long.  Here are some examples:

Please enter a location for your event.  This will be displayed on the Community Calendar. It can be up to 30 characters long.  Some examples:

Provide a brief description of your event.  This is displayed as scrolling text on the Community Calendar.  The description must be one paragraph and 60 words or less.  The shorter your description, the more likely it is to be read!

Please provide a name, phone number, email address or web site where viewers can go for more information about your event.  You must use 40 characters or less.

Please provide the name of the event sponsor.  Traverse Area Community Media will only display events sponsored by non-profit organizations, local governments or schools.  Sponsorship information is not displayed on the Community Calendar.

Enter a date (m/d/yyyy) when your event should start being displayed on the Community Calendar.

Enter a date (m/d/yyyy) when your event should stop being displayed on the Community Calendar.  Generally, this should be the date of the event.  You must provide an end date.  The end date must be less than 60 days from the start date.  If you have an ongoing event, you must re-enter the event every two months.

Please provide your name.  We ask for this information only in case we have questions about your entry.
